I purchased this for my Wife's note 9. It sticks well on the clear, flexible Spigen case. She doesn't really use the ring that much when she holds the phone (just not use to it yet). It's really great when used as a dash magnet mount for GPS use. Also a nice little kick stand. The swivel feature is really nice. It does class up a note 9...

My first phone holder of this type. This one is so much better than the others I’ve had. The magnetic strip you put inside your case is not very thick at all and barely distorts the soft thin case that I have. Works like a charm! Very stable even when going over large bumps the phone doesn’t budge.
